It is time for our leaders to look to the future and not be reactive to our current situation. The city has little control on housing prices but can look to increase employment opportunities and expand future tax base to help create the city we all want. If the city wants to help their citizens in this high inflation environment where 1 out of 6 citizens are behind on their utility bill, impacting financial assistance to those in need would be a good place to start.
