I think that all past, public meetings/workshops clarified the contractual necessities and the steps needed to set “Start Date” and all phases of the Gulfstream project to “GO”. I, as an informed resident, would like to stop debate tonight and have the final vote called, with commissioners voting “yes”.

I vote YES to move on with the project to restore The Gulfstream Hotel.

I’ve been at Lake Worth residence for 28 years. We have supported the town and all of the changes that have been made for the better. Unfortunately some commissioners do not ever want to move forward on some thing that would benefit our town. This is so disturbing as they are so stuck in the past, old Lake Worth mentality. These people have put so much work and money into this beautiful revitalization of the Gulfstream hotel. We need to give them our full support and finally move this project forward. Get on board once and for all the naysayers! If this goes on any longer we will be looking at a relic of a building that will fall down from disrepair. Thank you

I have lived here for almost 30 years. It will be wonderful to get the historic Gulfstream Hotel back up and running. JUST FINISH IT!!!

I strongly urge the commissioners to unanimously vote YES to the Gulfstream Hotel project.

The Historic Board has said yes. The
CRA has said yes. The independent evaluator hired by the city at a cost of $35,000.00 to the taxpayers said yes. The government entities
which place parameters on projects have said yes. There are no excuses, considerations, conditions or discussions left. This is quite simple, "yes".

The citizens of Lake Worth have voted YES, so please follow the will of your constituents. Restoration St Louis has shown that they plan to be a true partner in the revitalization of our community. We want to see this historic building restored and renewed.

Vote YES today and help secure the future of LWB.

Please vote to have the financiar incentive approved, because that's what is needed to move forward with Gulfstream Hotel...too many years have passed sitting there empty!

Please get the Gulf Stream Hotel project going, whatever it takes. Its time.

I have spent many wonderful moments at the Gulfstream. A CD release party, birthday party...and would love to spend more. Looking forward to a reopening 🥳.

I ask the city commissioners to please regard the citizens you work for. Remember that you work for the us, the citizens of this town and we the citizens of Lake Worth Beach want to see our community thrive and move forward.
We need approval of the Gulfstream Hotel to start the revitalization of Downtown Lake Worth Beach and to move forward not back.
Thank you
Judi Fox.

I've lived in Palm Beach County for most of my life and in Lake Worth Beach for over seven years. There's always been lots of potential for the city but for some reason, it just hasn't lived up to that potential. This is your opportunity to change that.
Approving the Gulfstream project will be a windfall for the city in so many ways. And Restoration St Louis is the perfect partner for this project. They've showed it over and over again in many other restoration projects.
I understand the cities concern over affordable housing. Everyone knows it's a problem all over the country, not just in our city. But those two things are not mutually exclusive. The city can approve the Gulfstream project and tackle the affordable housing issue at the same time. Actually, approving the Gulfstream project can eventually help the affordable housing issue more tax revenue for the city which the city can use to tackle this issue. It just makes sense.
I urge the council to approve the Gulfstream project and let all the residents of the city benefit from this project and we can all be proud to live in this city.

I urge you to approve the Gulfstream Hotel restoration project as supported by the overwhelming majority of Lake Worth Beach voters. We are in in dire need of additional revenues to upgrade our underfunded infrastructure and provide adequate services to our residents

I strongly urge all of the commissioners to fully support the Gulfstream Hotel project without any further delay. The rehabilitated, revitalized and expanded historic Gulfstream Hotel will be of great value to to both the visitors and residents of Lake Worth Beach. The Gulfstream Hotel will bring much needed jobs and revenues into our city and the time to approve this project is now.

Once again, the commissioners are having a meeting pertaining to the Gulfstream Hotel Project. The Historic Board has said yes. The CRA has said yes. The independent evaluator hired by the city at a cost of $35,000.00 to the taxpayers said yes. The government entities which place parameters on projects have said yes. There are no more excuses, considerations, conditions - or discussions- at this point left. This is quite simple, "yes". The citizens of Lake Worth are fed-up. Restoration St Louis has far surpassed any regulations put before them. Vote yes and move on.

On behalf of the Hoyt family, we moved to Lake Worth in 2016 and it showed the promise of a growing, vibrant community with ability to thrive economically.
We have seen a lot of ups and downs in these past six years, and really want to ensure our city by the sea continues to grow and endure what has already gone down.
Please, please, please be sensible and do the right thing with your votes tonight.
Hear the supplication of the city residents who really want this, the business owners who stand for growth, and please, support the Gulfstream Hotel being built ASAP.
Thank you, we know it is going to be the vote we want tonight. Thank you all for hearing us and listening to your constituents.

We are in support of the Gulf Stream Hotel project!

I support the project for the Gulfstream Hotel. This will bring so much to the City of Lake Worth Beach and a great opportunity for our city to shine. This project creates jobs not only for the short term but for the long term. Revenues and local economic impact is a win win for our small business owners and a great attraction for tourism for all things Lake Worth Beach.

Please vote YES to this project moving forward knowing that there is a strong majority approval from your constituents. I say, Love Lake Worth Beach - Love the Gulfstream Hotel.

I urge the Commission to wholeheartedly support the Gulfstream project. It will bring many good things to our city. I am, baffled by the actions of some Commissioners who seem at odds with the successful restoration of this historic structure, which will bring jobs and revenue to our city.

While the need for affordable housing is important, it should not be viewed as an either/or with regard to the Gulfstream. Both should receive whole-hearted support from the Commission.

Each of you were elected to represent the interests of your constituents. I think you will find the majority of residents support this project and are eager for it to proceed. Please do your job; do what’s right for the city. Support the redevelopment of the Gulfstream.

Lake Worth Beach needs stimulation of its economy to help with the unemployment and housing crisis. Denying this project, would be a travesty to the community and all who live here. The build would bring jobs, the hotel would bring jobs, the hotel would bring tourists which would bring people to our main street and again, jobs and money. All of the money it would bring would bring taxes, taxes that could help with the infrastructure which again would bring, jobs and help for the homeless.

Some of our Commissioners seem to think it is a good idea to allow the homeless to sleep everywhere and anywhere, not encouraging them to find work and real shelter, not encouraging them to fend for themselves. Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach him to fish and he will eat for a lifetime. Give people the ability to work, fend for themselves and give them dignity.

Please vote to finally approve the Gulfstream project. Let's get this done already. Policy to assist with housing has nothing to do with this project and can (and should) be done in ADDITION to the Gulfstream project. In fact, I'd argue there is a small business crisis in Lake Worth as well. A completed hotel such as what the Gulfstream will be, will be a tool to help small businesses in the town not only survive, but thrive. Be the City Commission who's legacy will include getting the hotel back up and running.

WE AREN’T HAVING THIS!!!
Number 1
We don’t want anything detrimental to us and our beloved city due to your irrational repugnant ideaologies intentional destructive actions and illogic
Number 2
We don’t want to THWART what has already been methodically calculated and proven by the independent experts to be of enormous benefit to us and our beloved city
Number 3
We don’t want anarchists on our city commission to sabotage us and degenerate our beloved city and we WILL be calling for RECALLS

WE DON’T WANT WHAT YOU WANT!!!

WE WANT ALL the final items related to the Gulfstream Hotel restoration project APPROVED and WE vote to move this project forward NOW!

I fully support the terms of the Gulfstream restoration. Both the Development Impact analysis done by Jon Stover and Associates and the third party attorney Robert Sanders analyzed the project and terms and voiced their strong support. The analysis was not a Nigerian email scam, the CRA vote to provide funds and support does not warrant them being taken over.
It means that they reviewed terms in comparison to like projects, value the input of professionals, and the strong support of the residents.
Tourism accounts for approximately 25% of the economy in Florida. LWB deserves to benefit from that.

The Gulfstream Hotel restoration project needs to move forward now more than ever to help our businesses, provide jobs, and much needed revenue for city improvements and schools. A restored landmark hotel will serve as an anchor to our eclectic downtown and honor our town's history. It is shameful that the hotel has sat vacant, in disrepair for over 17 years. It is time for our elected officials to hear our voices. Gulfstream Hotel Now!

As a native of Palm Beach County, I implore you to pass the Gulfstream Hotel project. My late father was a resident of the City of Lake Worth for over 50 years. Many of my childhood memories include trips to Lake Worth Beach, The Casino, Lake Ave. Lucerne and of course The beautiful Gulfstream Hotel. The Gulfstream Hotel will catapult Lake Worth Beach to new heights! The LAST thing Lake Wirth Beach needs is affordable housing. The Gulfstream Hotel will bring much needed revenue to the area including the many restaurants and shops along the downtown corridor. I implore you to vote to bring back The Gulfstream Hitel, “The Jewel of Lake Worth Beach”!!!!!!!

I strongly support the pink hotel project. Anything that can be done to to move this project forward I would also strongly support.
I’m trusting the commissioners to keep their promises and also support this project
