Budget Billing Application

Lake Worth Utilities offers a Budget Billing option to qualified residential customers who experience seasonal peaks and valleys in their bill amounts. Budget Bills are calculated based on a customers average bill amounts over a 12-month period. In order to qualify for this plan, a customer must meet the following requirements:

Full-time residency with at least 13 months of continuous utility service at the current service address.
Must have an excellent payment record – no late payments in the past 12 months.
Must have a “zero balance” on the utility account at the start of the plan. Budget Bill accounts will be reviewed and re-calculated at least once every 12 months. If a debit balance exists at the time of this true-up, it must be paid in full. Conversely, if there is a credit balance, the credit amount will be applied to the customer’s bill.
